Thomas Edward Rismiller,

Age 50, of Willowdell Road, Versailles, Ohio, was found to have passed away peacefully of natural causes at his residence Friday afternoon, June 17, 2022. He was born November 11, 1971, in Greenville, Ohio, to James & Linda (Platfoot) Rismiller who survive in Versailles. Also surviving is one son, Devin Rismiller of Sidney, two brothers, Ron & Cindy Rismiller of Yorkshire and David & Samantha Rismiller of Versailles; seven nieces and nephews: Jacob, Megan, Lauren and Ava Rismiller, Zoe and Alysse Schweitzer and Charlotte Rismiller as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Ernest & Hellen Platfoot, Loyd Rismiller and Mary (Rismiller) & Don Oliver.

Mr. Rismiller was a 1990 graduate of Versailles High School and a member of St. Denis Catholic Church. He had been engaged in farming at the Rismiller family farm. Tom was an avid card player. He also enjoyed driving tractors, carpentry and spending time with his nieces & nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at St. Denis Church in Versailles with Rev. James Duell presiding. Interment will follow at St. Valbert Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Tuesday 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie. Memorials may be made to charities of choice.
