Thomas Alfred Eilerman,
Age 60, of Kelch Road, Versailles, Ohio, was found to have passed away at his residence Saturday morning, November 8, 2025. He was born March 9, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to his adopting parents, Alfred (dec.) & Joann (Moeller) Eilerman of Carthagena. His birth parents are Terri & Tom (dec.) O’Connor of New Jersey and Dennis Terracina (dec.) & Donelle Williams of Maui, Hawaii. On July 16, 1999, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, Tom married Marge (Schmidt) Eilerman who survives. Also surviving are five children: Elise & Dustin Kiser of Jackson Center, Michael & Sayra Stidham of Boise, ID, Mark & Marie Francis of Troy, Eric Francis of Denver, CO, and Michelle & Jack Dawson of Lyndhurst, VA, along with 15 grandchildren; six siblings: Betty & Tom Welsch of Wapakoneta and Katy & Greg Smiechowski, Matt O’Connor, Joe O’Connor & Katie Cavenaugh, Mary “Nellie” & Samer Kattab, all of New Jersey, and Bethany Terracina, of Canada; sisters & brothers-in-law: Dorothy & Gene Schwartz of New Bremen, John & Kathleen Schmidt of Florida, Richard Schmidt of Osgood, Mary & Joe Larger of Russia, Norma Barhorst of Minster, Henry & Pam Schmidt of Yorkshire, Clete & Josie Schmidt of Minster, and Helen & Brent Goins of Sidney as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister Mary Eilerman, a sister-in-law, Joni Schmidt and a brother-in-law, Jim Barhorst.
Mr. Eilerman was a 1982 graduate of Versailles High School before serving four years in the US Army. Tom began a legendary career in the fitness industry, building from the ground up what is now internationally renowned as Nebula Fitness Equipment. In recent years, working from his home office, Tom had been Head Design Engineer for TKO Strength and Performance products of Houston TX. He concurrently worked as the lead designer of Defiant Strength equipment, aligned and distributed by TKO. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Piqua. An avid Star Trek fan, Tom was also known to be creatively talented and resourceful. Nothing was considered broken unless Tom, AKA MacGyver or Big Eagle, had a chance to fix it.
Private Memorial Services will take place Friday, November 14, 2025 at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie. A private visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM, followed by a private service from 1:30 to 2:00 PM, with Rev. James Duel presiding. Memorials may be made to Do Good Ministries or charities of choice. Private condolences may be expressed at the gehretfuneralhome.com website.
