Susan Massey Fry,

Age 69, of Fort Loramie – Swanders Road, Anna, passed away peacefully of natural causes Thursday morning, April 18, 2024, at the Wilson Health Hospital in Sidney, Ohio.  She was born February 18, 1955, in Huntington, Indiana, to the late Paul Massey & Barbara (Houser) Massey who survives of Anna, OH.  Also surviving are two sons, Brian Dierks and Dennis Dierks, both of New Carlisle, IN; three siblings: Ray & Joan Massey of Fort Loramie, OH, Rex & Teresa Massey of Groveport, OH, and Donna (Massey) & Mark Sell of St. Louis, MO; several nieces & nephews: Suzanne & C. Scott Garrett of Fort Loramie, OH, Paula & Keith Bey of Fort Loramie, OH, Jacqueline & Jeff Eilerman of Houston, OH, Kimberly Massey of Sidney, OH, Alex & Rachel Massey of Fort Loramie, OH, Regan & Brandon Schnug of Columbus, OH, Madison Sell of St. Louis, MO, and Parker Sell of St. Louis, MO, along with numerous great nieces and nephews as well as friends of the family: Jack Fry of South Whitley, IN, Kris Dierks of Sidney, IN, along with Doug Fry, Jayma Emrick and Todd Fry.

Susan was a 1973 graduate of Whitko High School of South Whitley, IN.  In 2007, she retired from Fox Products Corp. of South Whitley, IN, where she had been a purchasing agent for 20 years.  In recent years, she worked in the dietary department at Heritage Manor Nursing Center of Minster.  She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church where she participated in bible study groups, had been an active volunteer teaching bible school and helping with funeral luncheons.  Susan enjoyed spending time with her great nieces and nephews, especially, interacting as a grandmother figure with them.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at New Hope United Methodist Church (8985 W Mason Rd, Sidney, OH 45365) with Pastor Robert Berryman presiding.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.  A fellowship luncheon will be provided immediately following services.  A private interment service at South Whitley Cemetery will take place at the family’s discretion.  Memorials may be made to Wilson Health Hospice, New Hope United Methodist Church or charities of choice.
