John Thomas Lore,

Age 42, of E. Third Street, Greenville, Ohio, was found to have passed away of natural causes at his residence on Tuesday evening, May 16, 2023. He was born September 6, 1980, in St. Marys, Ohio, to the late Johnnie Lore and Jean (Overman) Lore who survives at Rossburg. Also surviving are two siblings, John David & Rita Lore of Wilmington and Jenni & Corey McGaughy of Spencerville; nieces & nephews: Skyler & Jake Bergman, Desiree Parrish and Brianna Short; great nieces & nephews: Liam, Bennett, Dixie and River Bergman as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Dale Lore.

Mr. Lore was a 2001 graduate of Ansonia High School and also acquired welder certifications from the Miami Valley Career Technology Center in Clayton. He was employed at Kard Welding in Minster where he had been a welder and machinist. Known by his family as JT, in his leisure, John enjoyed fishing and four wheeling. He was also a vintage artillery enthusiast.

An evening blessing service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie with Pastor Ernie Jones presiding.
