January 13, 1949 - January 6, 2024

Cynthia Carol (Mueller) Seger,

Age 74, of Minster Fort Recovery Road, Minster, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Saturday afternoon, January 6, 2024, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born January 13, 1949, in Plymouth, (Sheboygan County) WI, to the late LeRoy Mueller and Doris (Johnston) Mueller Baker.  On November 1, 1994, at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, NV, Cindy married Carl “Woody” Seger Jr. who survives.  He is survived by one son, Donald & Tara Scoggin of Urbana; four grandsons: Dalton and Andrew Scoggin, Liam and Connor McCoy; four siblings: Vickie (Mueller) Paul of Vancouver, WA, Bill Ferrel of the Pacific North West region, Karen (Ferrel) Nelson of Portland, OR, and Ron Ferrel of Vancouver, WA; sisters & brothers-in-law: Stephen & Rita Monnin of Botkins, Diana & John Hoying of St. Henry, Dennis Boerger of Sidney, Bonnie & Joe Sturm of Sidney, Richard Monnin & Diane Howell of Urbana, Jeffrey & Kendra Seger of Newport and Mary Beth & Gary Corbin of Sidney as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her step father, Morris Baker; step mother, Patricia Brasser; father & mother-in-law, Carl Sr. & Mary (Geise) Seger and sisters & brothers-in-law, Patricia and Michael & Rose Monnin.

Mrs. Seger had been a dedicated homemaker.  Over the years, she also worked at various local restaurants and as a nursing home aid.  She was a member of White Oak Campground.  In her leisure, Cindy enjoyed crocheting, watching Browns and Buckeye games, camping with Woody and friends, and especially, caring for her loyal felines and Pomeranian canines.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie with Deacon Paul Timmerman presiding.  Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.  Family and friends may call Thursday 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Friday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to charities of choice.  Private condolences may be expressed at gehretfuneralhome.com.
