Andrea Nicole (Householder) Kittel,

Age 43, of Hoying Road, Anna, Ohio, passed away peacefully of natural causes at her residence, Saturday morning, June 14, 2025.  She was born October 11, 1981, in St. Marys, Ohio, to Terrence & Susan (Hemmelgarn) Householder of McCartyville.  On December 1, 2007, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville, Andrea married Kenneth Kittel who survives along with four children: Tucker (12), Emery (10), Myla (8) and Lincoln Kittel (5); four siblings: Ryan & Melissa Householder of Whitehouse, Amy & Brian Puthoff of New Bremen, Eric & Valerie Householder of Monclova, Bret & Heather Householder of New Bremen; mother-in-law, Delores (Luedeke) Kittel of Houston; brothers & sisters-in-law: Karl L. Kittel of Russia, Kelly & Peter Peschke of Vermilion, Keith & Joyce (Monnin) Kittel of Phoenix, AZ and Kevin & Heather (Slife) Kittel of Houston as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Karl Kittel.

Andrea was a 2000 graduate of Fort Loramie High School.  She continued studies at Wright State University Lake Campus to achieve a B.A. degree in pre-kindergarten through third grade education as well as a M.A. degree in mild to moderate disabilities, special education.  Mrs. Kittel had been employed at Hardin Houston Local School where she primarily taught (Title I) reading intervention.  Previously, she taught kindergarten (4-years) and third grade (3-years) at Bellefontaine City Schools.  She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Fort Loramie and a past member of the Sacred Heart’s Contemporary Ensemble Choir.  Andrea enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family, singing for weddings and interacting with school and choir acquaintances.  She especially treasured lunches with her mom & dad and once a year family vacations that were without exception, geared for the little ones.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Friday, June 20, 2025, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville with Rev. Stephen Mondiek presiding.  Interment will follow at the church cemetery.  Family and friends may call Thursday, 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie and Friday 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church gathering room.  Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, cancer research or charities of choice.  Private condolences may be expressed at the gehretfuneralhome.com website.
