Margie Carol (Holeton) Replogle,

Age 87, formerly of Holeton Road, Houston, passed away peacefully of natural causes early Saturday morning, July 18, 2026, at Elmwood Assisted Living in New Bremen, Ohio.  She was born July 30, 1938, in Houston, Ohio, to the late Warren & Mary (VanDeGrift) Holeton.  On March 30, 1957, Margie married Kenneth Replogle who survives at Houston.  Also surviving are two children, Jeff & Cindy Replogle of Houston and Joni & James “Ted” Robinson of Versailles; five grandchildren: Kendra & Brooks Arbogast, Kim & Doug Selvey, Kent & Jocelyn Replogle, Brooke Robinson and Brayden & Kirsten Robinson along with nine great-grandchildren: Ava, Xavier, Blakely and Beckett Arbogast, Brantley, Kinley, and Hadley Selvey and Lyla and Warren Replogle;  One brother, Larry & LaDessa Holeton of Alabama, a sister-in-law, Jackie Replogle of Pittsboro, Indiana, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Holeton and several brothers & sisters-in-law: Larry & Joyce Replogle, Barbara & Gary Brown and Philip Replogle.

Margie was a 1956 Graduate of Houston High School.  In 1993, she retired from Versailles High School where she had been the secretary for the principal 18 years.  Prior to that she was the principal’s secretary at Houston High School for four years.  Margie was a member of Oran Christian Church where she had been a past piano player, choir member, Sunday School teacher and Bible School Director.  She was also active in the Oran Christian Church Women’s Group.  Margie enjoyed counted cross stitching, crocheting and watching her grandchildren in their athletics and drama club activities.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, July 24, 2026, at Oran Christian Church in Oran with Rev. Dale Ritts presiding.  Interment will follow at Houston Cemetery.  Family and friends may call Thursday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie and on Friday 9:30 AM until the hour of services at the church.  Memorials may be made to Grand Lake Hospice or charities of choice.  Private condolences may be expressed at the www.gehretfuneralhome.com website.
